Job Summary Basilio owns search end to end, ranking clients across Google, AI answer engines, and digital PR so they are the result buyers find. As a Technical SEO Specialist at Basilio Inc, you fix the technical foundation that lets a site rank. You sit inside the Search Authority team, own your results, and are measured on what you move, not hours logged. Basilio Inc is a growth and marketing company that builds and runs brands across Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and the open web. We hire operators, train them on proven systems, and give them real accounts to run. This is a remote-first, outcome-owned role for someone who wants to do the best work of their career on brands that are actually scaling. What You Will Own Audit and fix crawlability, indexing, speed, and site architecture Implement schema, internal linking, and Core Web Vitals improvements Work with developers to ship technical fixes that hold Turn a technical audit into a prioritized, measurable action list Keep on top of algorithm, SERP, and AI-answer changes and adjust the plan Coordinate with content, dev, and design to ship SEO work that holds Educate clients on the roadmap and what each move is worth A Typical Week Move your core metrics: crawl and index health and core web vitals pass rate Hands-on execution in Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Ahrefs Sync with content writers, technical and web developers, and the paid media team and report progress What Success Looks Like First 30 to 60 days: you are fully ramped on your accounts and tools and already moving crawl and index health Ongoing: you consistently hit target on crawl and index health and core web vitals pass rate You leave every account, campaign, or project measurably better than you found it Competencies Deep technical SEO knowledge Comfort in code and CMS AI fluency: strong prompting and sound judgment on when to trust or override a model (required) Ownership: you run your lane end to end and are measured on the outcome Clear, direct written and verbal communication Comfort working in a fast, data-driven, remote-first team Discipline with process, deadlines, and documentation Coachability: you take feedback and turn it into better work fast Education Bachelor's degree in a technical, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience. You report to your department lead and partner directly with account teams and, where the role calls for it, clients. Working With AI (Required) AI experience is required for this role. You are fluent with ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic), comfortable running models through OpenRouter and open models such as Qwen, and you write clear, effective prompts. Most of the work at Basilio Inc is AI-augmented, so you use AI to work faster and sharper every day while owning the judgment, accuracy, and final result yourself. Use AI across research, clustering, briefs, and drafting, and understand how AI answer and generative engines surface content. You verify facts and technical calls yourself and optimize for both classic and AI search.
